Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Coding Educator located in the United States (Remote). You will identify opportunities to improve provider documentation and develop education plans tailored to each provider group, reporting to the Manager, Coding Education.

You will analyze data, conduct educational sessions to enhance quality of care, documentation, and coding; collaborate with QCS and Network Performance; tailor webinars and prepare compliant PowerPoint presentations for groups.

Qualifications

• Certification CPC required
• 3+ years of risk adjustment provider education
• 3+ years of medical record review knowledge
• Medicare Risk Adjustment knowledge
• Familiar with coding guidelines (ICD-9/ICD-10)
• Experience analyzing data to guide process improvements
• Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables)
• Proficient in PowerPoint with leadership presentations

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve provider documentation and create tailored education plans
• Analyze data and deliver educational sessions to providers focused on quality, documentation, and coding improvements
• Collaborate with relationship owners and Quality and Cost Strategy (QCS)
• Monitor and develop strategy with Network Performance team and leader
• Tailor provider group webinars and discussions on MRA topics
• Create compliant PowerPoint presentations tailored to group strategy
