Job summary

Trellix, a leading cybersecurity company, seeks a Staff Software Development Engineer to design and scale the Cloud Threat Detection Platform. You will own high-throughput submission pipelines, microservices, sandbox execution, and secure AWS infrastructure while enabling AI-assisted engineering.

The role blends backend architecture with front-end dashboards, spanning microservices, data pipelines, and security compliance across regions.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of professional software development experience building high-throughput microservices and web architectures.
• Deep, expert-level knowledge of AWS cloud architecture and security for large-scale systems.
• Proficient in Python (FastAPI, Django) and modern web UI tech (React).
• Strong understanding of REST, async APIs, and scalable data services.
• Hands-on with Linux, shell scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of the Cloud Threat Detection Platform architecture and core submission pipelines.
• Build high-throughput microservices and dynamic sandbox execution, end-to-end ownership.
• Develop full-stack interfaces and dashboards for analysts using React, Django, HTML, CSS.
• Design and manage secure AWS infrastructure (VPCs, EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Integrate AI tooling into code development, reviews, and delivery workflows.
• Ensure security, compliance, and threat-detection capabilities across regions.
