Trellix is seeking an experienced Staff Software Development Engineer to lead design and development of a high‑throughput Cloud Threat Detection Platform. You will architect, implement, and operate microservices and analytics pipelines in a secure AWS environment, interfacing with AI tooling and secure data practices.

Qualifications

• Seasoned software engineer with 11+ years delivering high-throughput microservices.
• Expertise in AWS cloud architecture for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting and modern programming languages.
• Experience with secure design, OAuth2/JWT/SAML and SDL practices.
• Strong communication and autonomy across cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the Cloud Threat Detection Platform architecture and pipelines.
• Build high‑throughput microservices and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Lead full‑stack UI using React/Django and secure AWS infrastructure.
• Own production issues end‑to‑end, perform RCA and ensure SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, data sovereignty, and security standards.
