Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Senior Systems Engineer (Production Support) to oversee daily operations of complex cloud systems. You will work with customers and cross-functional teams to diagnose issues, implement fixes, and ensure reliability.

Required 8+ years in systems engineering, with strong AWS/Azure, Linux/Windows, scripting, and CI/CD experience. U.S. citizenship and Public Trust (MBI) clearance preferred.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field, production environments.
3+ years of experience with SQL queries and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support for complex cloud-based systems.
Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
Document problems and report outages with diagnostic data for recovery.
Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Maintain and install computing infrastructure and security compliance.
Support CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling for deployments.
