Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale production systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level, day-to-day operational support of complex application cloud systems.
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
• Follow standard practices to analyze data and situations to obtain answers.
• Detect, isolate, document, report, and resolve outages affecting production systems.
• Document problems in logging and discrepancy reporting tools.
• Work directly with the customer in most day-to-day activities.
• Respond to user calls regarding hardware and software issues; escalate when required.
• Communicate status of key problems to users and senior management.
• Perform maintenance/installation of computing infrastructure.
• Maintain inventory of system assets and ensure VA security compliance.
• Provide documentation, training, and additional duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
