Job summary

Verisys seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, secure, and scale our AWS-based healthcare credentialing platform. You will own cloud and container environments, oversee on-prem Nutanix, and drive automation across Windows and Linux systems in a remote role.

You will move between cloud engineering, systems administration, and security duties on a small team, balancing competing priorities while delivering reliable services and compliance support across HITRUST and SOC 2

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering/DevOps with production AWS experience.
• Expert-level Linux/Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Rancher, ECS Anywhere, and Nutanix Prism.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure as code with CloudFormation and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Run containerized workloads on ECS/ECS Anywhere and administer Rancher clusters.
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments, including AD, DNS/DHCP, IIS.
• Manage on-prem Nutanix (Prism Element/Prism Central) including health and upgrades.
• Automate configuration and patching with Python/PowerShell/Bash and AWS Systems Manager.
• Own SMTP relay infrastructure (Postfix/SES) including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, TLS, and deliverability.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting, participate in on-call, and support HITRUST/SOC 2 compliance.
