Job summary

Verisys is seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, secure, and scale our AWS‑based platform powering a healthcare credentialing system. The role blends DevOps and systems administration across Windows, Linux, on‑prem Nutanix, and container environments.

You will manage CloudFormation, ECS Anywhere, Rancher, SSL/TLS, SMTP relay, monitoring, and compliance programs in a fully remote setting with state residency requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or systems administration.
• 3+ years supporting production workloads in AWS.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure AWS infrastructure with emphasis on security, cost, and DR.
• Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation) and support CI/CD for containers.
• Administer Linux, Windows Server, and Nutanix environments on various platforms.
• Own SMTP relay, TLS/SSL management, monitoring, and on-call support.
