Zusammenfassung

Verisys is seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, secure, and scale our AWS-based healthcare credentialing platform. You will own Linux, Windows, on-prem Nutanix, containers (Rancher, ECS Anywhere), and TLS/SSL management, with a strong DevOps and systems administration component.

This remote role requires independence and the ability to shift priorities as needed on a small team, contributing across cloud, systems, and support. Must reside in allowed states.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, and/or systems administration.
• 3+ years supporting production workloads in AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and operate secure AWS infrastructure following the AWS Well-Architected Framework with focus on security, cost, and DR.
• Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation) and support CI/CD pipelines for container builds and deployments.
• Run containerized workloads on Amazon ECS/ECS Anywhere and administer Rancher native Cattle clusters.
• Serve as Linux SME: provisioning, hardening, patching, performance tuning across physical/virtual/cloud servers.
• Administer Windows Server (AD, GPO, DNS/DHCP, IIS) on-premises and on EC2.
• Administer Nutanix on-premises (Prism Element/Central) including health, AHV, capacity, upgrades, data protection.
• Automate configuration and patching with Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Systems Manager.
• Own SMTP relay (Postfix/SES), including SPF/DKIM/DMARC and deliverability.
