Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Certified Cloud Engineer to support development, security, automation, and long-term operation of a hybrid cloud environment across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams, driving IaC, containers, and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring regulatory alignment and operational efficiency. Remote-first with potential onsite as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years designing and maintaining AWS, Azure, GCP or equivalent cloud platforms.
• 5+ years in infrastructure-as-code and in application containerization.
• 5+ years of GitHub-based CI/CD and enterprise networking, observability, and cloud cost management.
• Experience with Windows and .NET environments.
• Ability to translate security, privacy, and compliance needs into cloud designs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, support, and maintain hybrid cloud platforms.
• Review vendor cloud architectures and configurations for risk and efficiency.
• Provide guidance on cloud networking, compute, storage, databases, identity, security, monitoring, and automation.
• Support cloud services across AWS, Azure, GCP and comparable platforms.
• Collaborate with .NET teams on deployment, APIs, containers, and environment mgmt.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub-based.
• Implement infrastructure as code and repeatable deployment automation.
• Incorporate security, privacy, and regulatory requirements into cloud designs.
• Assist identity and access management, encryption, network security, backup and DR.
• Ensure alignment with frameworks like NIST and IRS Pub 1075.
• Document architectures, configurations, and maintenance procedures.
• Transfer knowledge through mentoring and hands-on collaboration.
