Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Certified Cloud Engineer to support the development, implementation, security, automation, maintenance, and long-term operation of an enterprise hybrid cloud environment across AWS, Azure, and GCP. The role emphasizes design, integration, and production support with both remote and occasional onsite attendance.

Candidates should have deep cloud engineering experience in regulated settings and strong collaboration with development and security teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing and maintaining AWS, Azure, GCP, or another major cloud platform.
• 3+ years cloud experience in a regulated environment.
• 5+ years infrastructure-as-code experience.
• 5+ years containerization experience.
• 5+ years GitHub-based CI/CD experience.
• 5+ years enterprise networking, observability, and cloud cost management.
• 5+ years Windows and .NET experience.
• Strong scripting, programming, and cloud troubleshooting skills.
• Experience securing, automating, and supporting hybrid cloud environments.
• Ability to document procedures and transfer knowledge effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, support, and maintain hybrid cloud platforms.
• Review and validate vendor-proposed cloud architectures, configurations, and decisions.
• Identify architecture, security, scalability, reliability, performance, and cost risks.
• Provide guidance on cloud networking, compute, storage, identity, security, monitoring, and automation.
• Support cloud services across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or comparable platforms.
• Collaborate with .NET teams on deployment, integration, configuration, APIs, and containers.
• Develop and support GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code and repeatable deployment automation.
• Incorporate security, privacy, and compliance requirements into cloud architecture.
• Support IAM, encryption, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure cloud services align with regulatory and security frameworks (NIST, IRS 1075).
• Perform complex scripting, programming, configuration, troubleshooting, and automation tasks.
• Develop monitoring standards and incident-response processes.
• Document architecture, configurations, dependencies, and support requirements.
• Transfer technical knowledge through mentoring and collaboration.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
