Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies seeks a Certified Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a hybrid cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP). You will work with vendors, architects, developers, and security teams to ensure secure, scalable operations across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities include reviewing architectures, building CI/CD pipelines, and implementing infrastructure as code, with a focus on security, compliance, and cost optimization in a primarily remote role based in Wisconsin with

Qualifications

• At least 3 years designing or supporting cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with regulated environments is a plus.
• 5+ years infrastructure-as-code experience.
• 5+ years containerization experience.
• 5+ years GitHub-based CI/CD.
• 5+ years enterprise networking, observability, cost management.
• 5+ years Windows/.NET experience.
• Strong scripting and cloud troubleshooting skills.
• Proven ability to secure, automate, and support hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, support, and maintain hybrid cloud platforms.
• Review cloud architectures, configurations, and decisions.
• Identify risks across security, performance, and cost.
• Guide cloud networking, compute, storage, identity, security, monitoring, and automation.
• Support cloud services across AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalents.
• Collaborate with .NET teams on deployment, containers, APIs, and environment management.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub-based delivery.
• Implement infrastructure as code and repeatable deployment automation.
• Incorporate security, privacy, and compliance into cloud architecture.
• Support IAM, least privilege, encryption, network security, backups, DR.
• Ensure cloud services align with regulatory and security frameworks.
• Transfer knowledge through documentation and mentoring.
• Communicate complex concepts to stakeholders.
