Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC seeks an experienced Certified Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate a hybrid cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP). Remote work is primary with Wisconsin residency required; relocation within 30 days may be necessary; occasional onsite attendance may be required.

The role emphasizes security, automation, and long-term operational support, collaborating with application teams and security. Certification in cloud platforms is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, developing, modifying, supporting, and maintaining major cloud platforms.
• 3+ years cloud experience in a regulated organization.
• 5+ years infrastructure-as-code experience.
• 5+ years application containerization experience.
• 5+ years GitHub-based CI/CD experience.
• 5+ years enterprise networking, observability, and cloud cost management.
• 5+ years supporting Windows and .NET environments.
• Strong programming, scripting, configuration, and cloud troubleshooting skills.
• Experience securing, automating, and supporting enterprise hybrid clouds.
• Experience transitioning new technology into sustainable, long‑term operations.
• Strong written, verbal, documentation, collaboration, and knowledge‑transfer skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, support, and maintain hybrid cloud platforms.
• Review vendor cloud architectures, configurations, and implementation decisions.
• Identify risks across architecture, security, performance, and cost.
• Provide guidance on cloud networking, compute, storage, identities, and security services.
• Support cloud services across AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with .NET teams on deployment, integration, APIs, containers, and env management.
• Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub-based delivery.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code and automated deployment.
• Incorporate security, privacy, and compliance into cloud projects.
• Ensure identity access management, encryption, backups, and DR.
• Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Transfer knowledge to staff through mentoring and collaboration.
