Job summary

UMB Bank is seeking a CLO Operations Executive to provide highly complex support to the largest clients with CLO needs, including managing day-to-day operations, billing, and cash transactions.

You will collaborate with senior management to improve processes, review legal documents, and lead trainings while mentoring junior staff. This remote role emphasizes client relations and strategic CLO product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of corporate bank loans.
• Experience with CLOs, Interval Funds, ABLs, and Private Debt.
• Understanding of full trade cycle: settlements, closings, loan administration.
• Strong client relationship management and service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership and ability to drive change.
• Self-directed with initiative.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Fundamental understanding of credit products and markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly complex support to the largest clients with CLO needs.
• Manage day-to-day operational and client service activities with internal controls.
• Process billing, fees, payments, and cash/transaction activity for CLO accounts.
• Review legal documents; coordinate with internal/external legal and compliance.
• Develop trainings and lead process improvements within CLO services.
• Mentor junior associates and participate in cross-training.
• Identify business solutions to improve processes and systems.
