Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Consultant with life sciences software programming experience to help customers optimize EDC in Vault CDMS. This full-time role is remote from the UK or EU, and involves milestones from design to data transfers and go-live support.

You will configure forms, run UAT, and mentor teams while coordinating with sponsors, CROs, and data providers. Strong SQL-based skills and life sciences domain knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with EDC clinical software and end-to-end data management.
• Solid understanding of clinical trial processes and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and clinical sites, ensuring trial designs meet goals and providing training.
• Interpret protocol requirements and project specifications applying industry and Veeva best practices.
• Lead database development activities per the project plan, coordinating with sponsor, CRO and vendors.
• Coordinate with data providers to configure data transfers and data imports into Veeva DQS.
• Configure forms and study items in Vault CDMS and build SQL-based listings for data cleaning.
• Run on-site or remote user acceptance testing and manage feedback and issue resolution.
• Support requirements gathering and write specifications for study integrations and go-live activities.
• Flag risks and contingency plans to keep projects compliant with regulatory and Veeva procedures.
• Contribute to process, product and best-practice initiatives and support developers and testers.
• Share data management feedback with the Vault CDMS product team.
