Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Consultant for Vault CDMS to help life sciences customers optimize EDC and data integration in clinical trials. The role is remote, full-time, with travel as needed.

You will configure forms, review protocol requirements, develop SQL-based listings, and collaborate with sponsor, CRO, and data providers to implement best practices.

Candidates bring 5+ years in EDC, experience with SAS/ R/ Python/ JSON/ SQL, and strong communication; willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with EDC clinical software solutions and end-to-end data management.
• Customer-facing experience in software services or consulting.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (may include international).

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor to ensure study design aligns with customer goals and CDMS capabilities.
• Review clinical protocol requirements and project specifications applying best practices.
• Drive database development per project plan with sponsor, CRO and vendor teams.
• Collaborate with data providers to receive data and configure transfers.
• Configure forms, rules, and listings using SQL-based language and Veeva CDMS.
• Lead on-site or remote UAT and coordinate feedback and issue resolution.
• Support go-live activities and data integrations across study workflows.
• Communicate risks and contingency plans to ensure regulatory compliance.
