Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer with strong CICS TS and WAS expertise to provide premium support for our mainframe clients. The role involves installing, testing, and maintaining system software on z/OS, proactive performance monitoring, and coordinating migrations and DR tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on zSeries mainframe experience including installation and maintenance of CICS TS / WAS and related OEM product support.
• Thorough knowledge of CICS TS capabilities and installation/tailoring of CICS TS and related OEM products.
• Experience with IBM SMP/E and monitoring tools for CICS TS regions.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of CICS TS concepts, configurations and tailoring.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication.
• Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines and pressure.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customer service orders for mainframe z/OS customers related to CICS TS and OEM software.
• Provide primary support for reported problems related to CICS TS / WAS and related OEM software.
• Provide 24x7x365 support across multiple time zones.
• Follow procedures for installing OEM software products per Ensono standards.
• Assist migration efforts for new customer transitions involving CICS TS and OEM products.
• Coordinate with Disaster Recovery Services to execute DR plans.
