Job summary

Pennant Services seeks an experienced AR leader to manage cash posting and revenue cycle activities for Home Health & Hospice agencies. This role drives best practices, trains cash posters, and collaborates with executives to optimize collections and payor compliance.

Candidates should have strong experience in healthcare billing, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and proficient use of eClinical Works, HCHB, and Excel. This remote role supports multiple states within the Pennant Group network.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of cash posting experience.
• Three+ years in healthcare billing and collections management (home health/hospice preferred).
• Experience with eClinical Works, HCHB, and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Creates accountability for collection efforts and procedures for Executive Directors and Revenue Cycle Portfolio Leaders.
• Provides coverage for cash posters in the event of short-term or unexpected absences.
• Partners with cluster Executive Directors and Revenue Cycle Leaders to provide training to Cash Posters.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of payor contracts to ensure payors are billed per contract provisions.
• Keeps abreast of government billing regulations (Medicare/Medicaid) and serves as a resource for agency personnel.
• Attends Agency BAM meetings to identify and report on Collections.
• Prepares cash reports, reconciles daily funds, and resolves discrepancies with internal teams.
