Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 100% US-based remote role. The position supports the Veterans Affairs department and requires Veterans eligibility and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance.

Responsibilities include leading requirements capture for software projects, maintaining requirements in ALM tools, and guiding Agile processes. A Master’s in engineering and deep SAFe/JIRA expertise are highly valued.

Qualifications

Must possess a strong background in software development and SAFe/Scaled Agile Framework.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
Strong attention to detail, customer service orientation, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience conducting independent research to support resolution of complex questions.

Responsibilities

Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
Collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to elicit, elaborate, and document requirements in an ALM tool.
Manage requirements in an ALM tool and perform Agile requirement management for the product team.
Analyze user needs to determine functional, cross-functional, and technical requirements.
Conduct user interviews, facilitate sessions, and develop business process models and specifications.
Gather and document business, functional, technical, and non-technical requirements with stakeholders.
