Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in software development and SAFe methodologies. This full-time, remote role supports the Veterans Affairs department and requires experience in Agile requirements management and JIRA.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree in Engineering or related field and U.S. citizenship. A Public Trust (MBI) clearance is preferred. Military veterans are encouraged to apply.

• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to explain complex topics to stakeholders.
• Must have strong attention to detail, customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Mansioni

• Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
• Collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to elaborate and document requirements in an ALM tool.
• Manage requirements in an ALM tool and perform Agile requirement management for a product team.
• Perform analysis of user needs to determine functional, cross-functional, and technical requirements.
• Conduct user interviews and develop business process models and formal specifications.
• Work with customers and team members to document business, functional, technical requirements.
• Perform elaboration of user stories and backlog item decomposition with acceptance criteria.
• Use JIRA for Requirements Management, Testing, and Defect Management.
• Collect, analyze, manage, and report key execution status and metrics across SAFe lifecycle.
