Job summary
Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 100% remote role with the Veterans Affairs department. The candidate will lead requirements capture for software teams, work with IT and leadership to document requirements in ALM tools, and manage backlog items in SAFe/agile environments.
Candidates should have extensive SAFe experience and federal contract familiarity. Ideal for experienced analysts capable of mentoring juniors, eliciting user needs, and coordinating changes
Qualifications
- Strong background in software development and SAFe methodologies.
- Excellent written and oral communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
- 10 years of professional experience; U.S. citizenship and Public Trust clearance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
- Collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to document requirements in an ALM tool.
- Manage requirements in an ALM tool and perform Agile requirement management.
- Conduct user interviews and develop business process models and specifications.
- Write and deliver project documents to the client and manage risks.
- Coordinate with Systems Engineers to assess impact on solutions and manage change control.
