Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC (SSG) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 100% remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs department. The ideal candidate will lead requirements capture for software teams, work with users and IT to elaborate and document needs, and manage requirements in ALM tools such as JIRA within an Agile/SAFe environment.

The position requires 10 years of experience, a Master’s degree in engineering, and eligibility for a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in business analysis or a related field.
• Experience applying Agile/SAFe in large software development or data integration projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in elicitation, documentation, and management of requirements in ALM tools.
• Familiarity with VA or federal procurement is a plus.
• Eligibility for Public Trust clearance is desirable.
