Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking an experienced Requirements Analyst for a fully remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs program. You will lead requirements capture for software teams, collaborate with business users, IT, and leadership to elaborate and document requirements in ALM tools, and manage the backlog using JIRA in an Agile environment.

The ideal candidate has 10 years of professional experience, strong SAFe knowledge, and excellent communication skills, with a Master’s degree

Qualifications

• Strong background in software development and SAFe/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Attention to detail, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
• Document requirements in an ALM tool and manage them.
• Perform Agile requirement management for a product team.
• Analyze user needs to determine functional and technical requirements.
• Conduct user interviews and develop business process models and specifications.
• Gather and document requirements from customers and stakeholders.
• Define acceptance criteria for backlog items and manage change control.
