Zusammenfassung

GovCIO is hiring a Senior Financial and Budget Analyst to support financial management, strategic planning, data analysis and reporting activities for DHS ICE. This fully remote role will drive budget formulation, budget execution, data calls, analytics and dashboard development to support mission delivery.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in dynamic customer delivery settings; DHS/government experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in dynamic customer delivery environments (2 years of experience may be removed for a Master’s Degree)
• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience required.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic guidance and portfolio management to stakeholders.
• Participate in budget formulation and execution processes.
• Provide briefings to senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop costing data and program analysis techniques to capture financial savings for the client mission.
• Capture and analyze budget requirements and lead resolution activities.
• Develop financial management recommendations and related deliverables (white papers, issues papers, risk assessments).
• Analyze candidate projects for justification, prioritization and business value.
• Assist in Multi-Year Planning (MYP) activities.
• Coordinate budget formulation exercises with stakeholders.
• Develop leadership briefings to elicit budget/project issue identification and risks.
• Monitor year budget execution and ensure funds obligate on time.
• Lead analysis of budgetary needs and alignment with mission needs.
• Work with teams to respond to changing requirements with expedient solutions.
• Translate complex issues into concise, persuasive narratives; create visuals with PowerPoint.
