Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Financial and Budget Analyst to support DHS ICE with budget formulation, execution, data analysis and dashboard development in a fully remote role.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in dynamic customer delivery environments; DHS/Gov US experience and DHS clearance are preferred. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to influence mission-critical programs across federal operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience required.
• 10+ years in dynamic customer delivery environments (2 years may be removed for a Master's Degree).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance and portfolio management to stakeholders.
• Participate in budget formulation and execution processes.
• Develop and deliver briefings to senior internal/external stakeholders.
• Develop costing data and program analysis to realize financial savings.
• Analyze projects to justify, prioritize, and maximize business value.
• Support Multi-Year Planning activities.
• Create leadership briefings on budget or project issues.
• Monitor year-end budget execution and fund obligations.
• Lead analysis of budgetary needs and new requirements.
• Coordinate budget formulations with stakeholders.
• Create clear narratives from multiple sources.
• Prepare presentations and visualizations in PowerPoint.
