Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Financial and Budget Analyst to support ICE with budget formulation, execution, data calls, analytics, and dashboard development. This fully remote role requires DHS/government experience and senior-level financial analysis skills.

The position involves strategic guidance, multi-year planning, and coordination with stakeholders to deliver timely budget results and impactful financial insights for mission delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate experience).
• 10+ years of experience in dynamic customer delivery environments (2 years may be removed for a Master’s Degree).
• Experience delivering for DHS and/or US government agencies is preferred.
• Strong understanding of budget formulation, execution, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance and portfolio management to stakeholders.
• Participate in budget formulation and execution processes.
• Develop financial management recommendations and associated deliverables.
• Lead analysis of budgetary needs and alignment with mission needs.
• Monitor execution year budget figures and ensure timely obligations.
• Develop leadership briefings to elicit budget or project issue identification.
