Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Financial and Budget Analyst to support DHS ICE in a fully remote capacity. The role focuses on budget formulation, execution, data analytics, and dashboard development, delivering strategic guidance to stakeholders and producing concise, well-written analyses.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in dynamic delivery environments, with DHS/gov experience preferred. A DHS clearance is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate experience) required.
• 10+ years in dynamic customer delivery environments; masters may reduce by 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance and portfolio management to stakeholders.
• Participate in budget formulation and execution processes.
• Provide briefings to senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and use costing data and program analysis to capture financial savings.
• Analyze and justify candidate projects to yield business value.
• Lead Multi-Year Planning (MYP) activities and budgeting exercises.
• Prepare leadership briefings on budget issues and risks.
• Monitor year budget execution and ensure timely obligations.
• Translate complex issues into a clear narrative with strong writing.
