Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Financial and Budget Analyst to support DHS ICE budgeting, planning, data analysis and reporting. This fully remote role requires extensive experience in budget formulation and execution, and strong ability to provide leadership and briefings to executives and stakeholders.

You will develop cost analyses, dashboards, and deliverables to inform mission decisions. Ideal candidates have deep expertise in government budgeting, data visualization, and cross‑team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
• 10+ years of experience in dynamic customer delivery environments (2 years may be removed for a Master’s Degree).
• Experience delivering for DHS/government agencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and programmatic guidance to stakeholders.
• Participate in budget formulation and execution processes.
• Provide briefings to senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop costing data and program analysis to capture financial savings for the client mission.
• Capture and analyze budget requirements; lead resolution activities.
• Develop financial management deliverables (white papers, risk assessments, etc.).
• Analyze projects to ensure they are justified, prioritized and structured for business value.
