Job summary

Pavago is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper / Accounting Operations Specialist to manage financial records, reconcile 10+ accounts, and handle vendor and customer payments. You will rely on Xero, Excel and Google Sheets, work independently, and safeguard confidential information.

Remote role aligned with US EST hours. You will improve systems and reporting, track trip profitability, and prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports while reconciling HubSpot data with Xero.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in bookkeeping, accounting operations, or financial analysis.
• Strong hands-on Xero experience including reconciliation and reporting.
• Experience reconciling 10+ accounts monthly and quarterly.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, pivots).
• Experience with international payments and foreign currency transactions. Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly/quarterly reconciliations across 10+ accounts and platforms.
• Review and categorize expenses in Xero; identify discrepancies.
• Track vendor and customer payments; manage international payments.
• Monitor trip profitability, margins, and related costs; prepare reports.
• Maintain HubSpot data; reconcile with Xero and organize documents.
• Develop and improve Excel/Google Sheets templates and automation.
