Job summary

Pavago is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead multi-entity accounting & financial reporting in a remote role. You’ll own month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and internal controls across locations and business units, partnering with the VP of Accounting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, hands-on QuickBooks Online expertise, and proven ability to scale accounting processes for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with direct ownership of the month-end close.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. accounting practices.
• Experience managing accounting across multiple entities, locations, or business units.
• Expert-level QuickBooks Online experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close across multiple locations and entities.
• Manage and review financial records by business unit.
• Review P&L, AR, AP, payroll, and other accounting records.
• Ensure financial reporting is accurate, complete, and timely.
• Analyze financial results and investigate discrepancies or unusual activity.
• Maintain financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP and accounting practices.
