Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join our team in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on generating and maintaining data and analytic solutions, turning data into actionable knowledge.

You will interpret databases, develop data models within BI tools, and maintain existing applications to support decision-making. You will use SQL, Tableau, QlikView/QlikSense, SAS and Power BI among other tools, collaborating with business users and IT to deliver robust

Qualifications

• BA/BS with focus on Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year of experience in Analytics, Data Modeling, or Business Intelligence.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI or other BI software.
• Knowledge with SQL, Python or R preferred.
• Knowledge of data sources and databases structures.
• Programming skills including SQL, R, or Python.
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Use BI tools to create applications and data models for reporting needs.
• Develop reporting application scripts that import data from various sources.
• Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes within reporting applications.
• Recognize and suggest alternative data solutions when applicable.
• Communicate effectively with users to develop BI applications, validate effectiveness, and conduct user testing.
• Adapt quickly to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a high-growth organization.
• Ensure data validation and integrity in analytics processes.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Initiate collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and IT.
