Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Public Policy, Behavioral Economics, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Decision Sciences, Human Factors, or related field.
• 7–10+ years applying behavioral science in organizational, government, consulting, or policy environments.
• Formal training in experimental design, statistical analysis, customer experience, or behavioral research methodologies.
• Proven success designing, implementing, and evaluating behavioral interventions that influence decision‑making and outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of experimental design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of quantitative results.
• Experience translating academic research into practical, scalable solutions for complex real‑world problems.
• Leading cross‑functional teams to deliver large‑scale data solutions.
• Background in public sector, regulated environments, or mission‑driven organizations preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior government stakeholders to understand complex business needs and develop data integration strategies.
• Strong consultative and relationship‑building abilities to influence decision‑makers across agencies.
• Mentor junior researchers and guide cross‑functional teams through the behavioral insight process.

• Drive projects independently with ownership and timely, high‑quality outcomes.
• Stay current on data engineering, big data tools, and analytics methodologies.
• Develop behavioral strategies aligned to organizational priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver insights under tight timelines.
• Present findings to executive leadership and shape policy or program design.
• Identify frictions, biases, and bottlenecks affecting performance.
• Evaluate interventions and translate results into actionable recommendations.
