Cayuse Holdings seeks a Senior Behavioral Scientist to act as a technical expert and strategic partner for federal programs. You will translate research into actionable solutions, collaborate with clients and senior data scientists, and guide projects from assessment through implementation of data-driven recommendations.

The role focuses on behavioral economics, cognitive psychology, and applied social sciences to improve compliance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in policy, economics, psychology, or related field.
7–10+ years applying behavioral science in government, consulting, or policy environments.
Formal training in experimental design, statistics, or behavioral research methods.
Proven success designing and evaluating behavioral interventions that influence decision-making.
Strong working knowledge of experimental design and data analysis.
Experience translating academic research into practical solutions.
Leadership of cross-functional teams on large data projects.
Public sector or regulated environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Engage with senior government stakeholders to translate needs into analytics objectives and strategies.
Mentor junior researchers and guide cross-functional teams through the insight process.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to deploy data-driven solutions.
Present findings to executive leadership and shape policy or program design.
Drive projects with ownership and timely, high-quality outcomes.
Stay current on data engineering trends and analytics methodologies.
