Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer, Construction – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to provide advanced technical oversight for EPC projects, commissioning, and warranty activities across nationwide sites. The role serves as a technical authority for high‑risk BESS scopes, coordinating EORs, vendors, and project stakeholders while mentoring staff.

The position emphasizes ownership of complex BESS engineering coordination, standards development, and portfolio-level improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 3–5+ years of progressive electrical engineering/BESS/EPC experience with advanced technical responsibility.
• Strong understanding of BESS design, integration, commissioning interfaces, and project execution requirements.
• Experience coordinating EORs, vendors, and internal teams to resolve complex engineering issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level engineering oversight during BESS construction, commissioning, energization, and warranty activities.
• Coordinate with EORs, vendors, AHJs, and project teams to deliver BESS engineering deliverables on schedule.
• Review drawings, specs, vendor documentation, and commissioning plans for alignment with contract requirements.
• Support field teams with RFIs, clarifications, and design revisions related to BESS scope.
