Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and operate large-scale distributed backend services powering critical workloads. You will architect scalable platforms, focusing on reliability, performance, and clean engineering practices.

The role requires 6+ years in backend engineering, expertise in Java/Go/Scala, and strong distributed-systems knowledge. This is a 100% remote, full-time W2 position with transfer-friendly H1B options for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Six or more years of professional backend engineering experience, with distributed systems focus.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, Scala, or similar.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑throughput message systems such as Kafka.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale distributed backend systems.
• Architect data partitioning, replication, and consistency strategies.
• Build resilient APIs and event-driven services with observability and idempotency.
• Lead architecture reviews and trade-off analyses.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and drive code quality and reliability.
