Job summary

TriNet is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive growth in the SMB market by prospecting new clients and selling TriNet’s HR solutions, including payroll, benefits, and HR services, to companies with 5-99 employees within an assigned territory.

You will build your own book of business, engage C-level executives, and run a structured sales process with a goal of exceeding quota. A strong network, outbound discipline, and proficiency with CRM tools are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 3+ years in B2B complex sales.
• PEO experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan annual territory targets across multiple states.
• Prospect and build a balanced pipeline incl. partners.
• Qualify opportunities quickly based on buyer personas.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with prospects.
• Manage a multi-stage sales process and deliver proposals to decision makers.
