Job summary

Verisys is seeking a hands-on Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and secure the infrastructure behind our healthcare credentialing platform. The role is remote but requires residency in allowed states; you will own cloud, on-prem, and container platforms, with a strong systems administration component.

Responsibilities include managing AWS services, IaC, container workloads, and SSL/TLS certificates, while ensuring HITRUST and SOC2 alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE or systems admin.
• 3+ years supporting production workloads on AWS.
• Experience designing secure, highly available AWS infra.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS, S3, RDS).
• Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation) and CI/CD for containers.
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments, incl. on-prem Nutanix.
• Handle SMTP relay and SSL/TLS cert management; monitor and respond to incidents.
