Job summary

Verisys is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, secure, and scale our AWS-based infrastructure supporting a healthcare credentialing platform. You will own cloud, on-prem, and container environments, with responsibilities spanning Linux, Windows Server, Nutanix, and container platforms.

This is a remote role with a strict state- residency requirement posted; emphasis on DevOps, security, and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or systems administration.
• 3+ years supporting production workloads in AWS.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer Linux and Windows Server environments, including AD, DNS/DHCP, and IIS.
• Administer Nutanix on-prem clusters and perform capacity planning, upgrades, and data protection.
