Job summary

QPS, LLC is seeking an AP Senior Specialist to lead month-end close, manage vendor records, and oversee purchasing processes in a fully remote role based from home in the Newark, Delaware area. You will mentor staff, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate, timely payments in coordination with the A/P and A/R teams.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of high-volume invoice processing experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and strong communication skills to liaise with

Qualifications

• University/college degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• 4+ years of AP/invoice processing experience preferred.
• Experience with high-volume, complex invoices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP month-end close and liability accruals.
• Maintain vendor master records with proper approvals.
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and related documents per policies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly reports and cost trend analyses.
