Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Health System Pharmacy Financial Performance to join our team.

This role provides senior-level financial analysis and insights across specialty and health-system pharmacy performance, partnering with Finance, Pharmacy Operations, Contracting, Analytics, and 340B to improve reimbursement and margins. Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial analysis with a bachelor’s degree
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, variance, margin, rate, volume, and mix analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel with PivotTables, lookups, complex formulas
• Experience communicating financial findings to executives
• Experience with pharmacy/healthcare finance or revenue integrity preferred
• Experience with BI tools (QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau) preferred
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of financial analyses and performance review materials used in monthly and periodic health system pharmacy business reviews; identify key drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions for business leaders.
• Analyze actual financial and operational performance against budgets, forecasts, and other benchmarks to explain variances and inform corrective action.
• Identify and explain drivers affecting prescription volume, revenue, reimbursement, drug acquisition cost, COGS, gross margin, operating expenses, and net operating income.
• Independently identify emerging financial risks and opportunities and recommend actions to leadership; elevate significant risks when appropriate.
• Determine analytical approaches and perform drug-, payer-, clinic-, market-, disease-state-, claim-, and therapy-level analyses to explain performance.
• Analyze pharmacy reimbursement and negative margin claims to identify actionable opportunities that improve margin performance and reduce losses.
• Evaluate purchasing, inventory, replenishment, inflation, price, volume, and therapy-mix impacts on financial performance and recommend improvements.
• Quantify the financial impact of contracting decisions, payer access, 340B activity, rebates, and other revenue integrity initiatives.
• Develop forecasts, budget models, scenario analyses, variance bridges, ROI models, and planning assumptions.
• Influence strategic decisions by translating modeling into clear alternatives and recommendations.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and data stories describing what happened, why, impact, and actions.
• Provide financial guidance to stakeholders; validate conclusions and align with business needs.
• Use Excel, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, SQL, and other tools to develop models, dashboards, and reports.
• Own validation and reconciliation of analyses to source systems and financial statements.
• Other duties as assigned.
