Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Health System Pharmacy Financial Performance to join our team.

The role focuses on financial analysis and insights to support pharmacy performance and profitability across health system and specialty segments. You will collaborate with Finance, Pharmacy Operations, Contracting, Analytics, Account Management, 340B, and health system partners to deliver actionable narratives and decision-ready materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Analytics, or related field; master preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis in healthcare or related fields; bachelor's degree required.
• Experience interpreting financial statements with budget-to-actual, forecast, and variance analysis.
• Experience building financial models, forecasts, scenarios, and executive reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data reconciliation.
• Strong ability to communicate complex financial findings to executives.
• Experience with pharmacy, health-system pharmacy, PBM, or reimbursement preferred.
• Experience with BI tools such as QlikView/Qlik Sense/Power BI or Tableau preferred.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R preferred.
• Commitment to compliance programs and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analyses and performance reviews for health system pharmacy and specialty pharmacy.
• Analyze actual performance vs budgets, forecasts, and benchmarks to explain variances.
• Identify drivers affecting revenue, reimbursement, COGS, margin, and expenses.
• Detect financial risks/opportunities and inform leadership with actions.
• Develop analytical approaches for drug, payer, clinic, and market analyses.
• Evaluate reimbursement and margin issues to identify optimization opportunities.
• Assess purchasing, inventory, inflation, price, and therapy-mix impacts on finances.
• Quantify financial impact of operational changes, contracting, and network activities.
• Develop forecasts, budgets, scenario analyses, and ROI models for planning.
• Translate complex modeling into clear recommendations for executives.
• Provide financial guidance to Finance, Operations, Analytics, and Contracting teams.
• Validate analyses against source systems and financial statements.
• Own data quality and reporting accuracy for decision support.
• Other duties as assigned.
