Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Health System Pharmacy Financial Performance to join our team.

The role focuses on financial analysis, reimbursement, and margin improvement across specialty and health-system pharmacy, working with finance, operations, contracting and analytics to deliver actionable insights. You will develop forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses, prepare executive-ready reports, and translate complex data into clear narratives for leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with bachelor’s degree or 3+ years with master’s in financial analysis or healthcare finance.
• Experience interpreting financial statements and performing budget-to-actual, forecast, variance, margin, rate, volume, and mix analysis.
• Experience developing financial models, forecasts, scenario analyses, and executive‑level financial reporting.
• Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel to perform financial analysis, including PivotTables, lookups, complex formulas, data validation, reconciliation, and financial modeling.
• Experience communicating complex financial findings to operational and executive audiences.
• Experience with pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, health system pharmacy, or pharmacy claims preferred.
• Experience with BI tools such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, SAS or other platforms preferred.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of financial analyses and performance review materials used in monthly health system pharmacy business reviews.
• Analyze actual financial and operational performance against budgets, forecasts, and benchmarks to explain variances and inform actions.
• Identify drivers affecting revenue, reimbursement, COGS, gross margin, and operating expenses.
• Independently identify risks and opportunities and elevate significant issues to leadership.
• Develop analytical approaches for drug-, payer-, clinic-, market-, disease-state-, and therapy-level analyses.
• Quantify financial impact of contracting decisions, payer access, and 340B activity on performance.
• Evaluate purchasing, inventory, inflation, price, volume, and therapy-mix impacts on financials.
• Create forecasts, budgets, scenario analyses, and ROI models for annual planning and long-range planning.
• Translate advanced modeling into clear alternatives, risks, and recommendations.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and data stories describing occurrences and actions needed.
• Provide financial guidance to stakeholders; validate conclusions and align with business needs.
• Develop models and dashboards using Excel, QlikView/Qlik Sense/Power BI and SQL.
• Own validation and reconciliation of analyses to source systems and data.
