Job summary

Sharecare is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to lead the transformation toward agentic engineering in healthcare tech. You will design, build, and scale AI/ML systems, including generative AI apps, with strong emphasis on safety, governance, and cross-team collaboration.

Remote-first role with global impact on patient care. The position requires 6+ years of end-to-end system ownership, deep cloud experience, and a track record of delivering high-volume AI-enabled solutions in healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/Data Science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of software engineering or systems architecture.
• Experience with LLMs, generative AI, and NLP tools.
• Experience on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, and containers.
• Knowledge of data privacy, cybersecurity, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions.
• Build and optimize ML models, analytics, and automation tools.
• Develop generative AI apps using LLMs, RAG, and conversational AI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Integrate AI models into enterprise apps and workflows.
• Develop data pipelines for model training and deployment.
• Monitor model performance and lifecycle management.
• Ensure security, privacy, compliance, and governance.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering to scale AI in cloud.
• Create technical docs and architecture diagrams.
• Support governance, explainability, fairness, and responsible AI practices.
