Job summary

Sharecare is seeking an AI Engineer to drive architecting and delivering AI/ML solutions across the product platform. You will own end-to-end systems, from data pipelines to model deployment, with a focus on safety and auditability in healthcare

You will collaborate with stakeholders, apply governance practices, and remain current on AI advancements to support the company’s health data initiatives. This role is remote in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, IT or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering or systems architecture.
• Experience developing, deploying, and supporting ML models and AI-driven applications.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs), generative AI platforms, and NLP tools preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with MLOps, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions to support business needs.
• Build and optimize ML models, analytics, recommendation systems, and automation tools.
• Develop generative AI apps using LLMs, RAG, and conversational AI technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.
• Integrate AI models into enterprise apps and workflows.
• Develop data pipelines for model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Monitor model performance and implement retraining and lifecycle processes.
• Ensure AI solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, governance standards.
• Conduct testing, validation, and performance assessments of ML models.
• Collaborate with cloud and infra teams to deploy and scale AI in the cloud.
• Create architecture docs and operational procedures for AI systems.
• Support governance initiatives around model transparency, fairness, and responsible AI.
• Troubleshoot AI models, integrations, and prod environments.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural planning.
• Provide technical leadership on AI best practices and implementation.
• Stay current with AI advancements and contribute to the AI roadmap.
