Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience in a law firm or professional services
• Strong full-cycle AP knowledge and vendor reconciliations
• Excel proficiency with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP; macros a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable, processing 20-50+ invoices and payment requests per day
• Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy, coding, approvals, and compliance
• Prepare and process vendor payments, check requests, and other AP transactions
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, duplicates, and vendor inquiries
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and assist with outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate AP records and documentation for audit trail
• Assist with month-end close activities, AP reconciliations, accruals, and invoicing reviews
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and internal departments to address AP issues and ensure timely processing
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and streamline AP processes
• Serve as resource to AP team and support complex transactions as needed
