Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high-volume AP function within a fast-paced professional services environment. This fully remote role handles 20-50 invoices per day, ensures accurate coding, and processes payments.

You will perform vendor reconciliations, assist with month-end close, and help improve AP processes while collaborating with Accounting leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a law firm or legal services.
• Strong understanding of full-cycle AP processes and vendor reconciliations.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process 20-50+ invoices and payment requests per day.
• Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals and procedures.
• Prepare and process vendor payments and check requests.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve outstanding balances.
• Maintain accurate AP records and audit trails.
• Assist with month-end close, accruals and AP reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to resolve AP issues.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen controls.
• Mentor junior AP team members as needed.
