Jobot is seeking a fully remote Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high-volume AP function within a reputable law firm. The role handles 20-50+ invoices daily, with ownership of payments, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of progressive AP experience in legal services, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a collaborative accounting team. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years AP experience in a law firm or legal services.
• Full-cycle AP: coding, processing, payments, reconciliations, discrepancies.
• Legal or professional services industry experience preferred.
• Carrier invoices/billing guidelines experience a plus.
• Strong Excel skills: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP; macros a plus.
• Aderant experience preferred but not required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage high transaction volume and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Manage high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable (20-50+ invoices per day).
• Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and compliance.
• Prepare and process vendor payments, check requests, and AP transactions.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and resolve balances.
• Maintain accurate AP records with supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end close activities and accruals.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance and internal teams on AP issues.
• Identify controls improvements to streamline AP processes.
• Serve as experienced resource to other AP team members.
