Jobot is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist for a fully remote role within a growing, reputable law firm. You will own high-volume, full-cycle AP, processing 20-50+ invoices daily, managing payments, vendor inquiries, and ensuring accurate records.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of AP experience in legal services, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with AP controls and month-end close. This position offers $70,000-$80,000 DOE with excellent benefits and collaborative leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive AP experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Strong full-cycle AP knowledge and vendor reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsabilités

• Manage high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable, including processing 20-50+ invoices per day
• Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy, proper coding, approvals, and compliance with established procedures
• Prepare and process vendor payments, check requests, and other AP transactions
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, duplicate invoices, and vendor inquiries
• Perform vendor account reconciliations and assist with resolving outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation to ensure a clean audit trail
• Assist with month-end close activities, including AP reconciliations, accrual support, and outstanding invoice review
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and internal departments to address AP-related issues and maintain timely processing
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, streamline processes, and improve AP efficiency
• Serve as an experienced resource to other AP team members and provide support on more complex transactions as needed
