Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. This role will lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, prepare consolidated financial statements, and support audits.

You will collaborate with FP&A, Revenue, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and IT while coordinating close activities for a global organization. This US-based remote position requires comfortable Eastern Time Zone hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting.
• Experience with month-end and quarter-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Ability to coordinate across teams and support audits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting for key corporate workstreams including leases, legal accruals, bonuses and debt.
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement preparation, including tables and footnotes.
• Ensure audit-ready financial statement support and documentation.
• Coordinate consolidation of multiple entities and currencies, incl. foreign translation and intercompany eliminations.
• Lead monthly/quarterly close calls and track deadlines.
