Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. This US-based remote position supports monthly, quarterly, and annual close, consolidated financial reporting, audits, and systems administration.

The role collaborates with FP&A, Revenue, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and more, and requires strong accounting fundamentals, CPA, and US GAAP knowledge. ET hours apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA certification
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience in corporate or public accounting
• Hands-on month-end/quarter-end close, journal entries, reconciliations
• Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication and cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Support accounting for key corporate workstreams including leases, accruals, debt and IT expenditures
• Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and tie-outs
• Ensure audit-ready financial statements and supporting documentation
• Consolidate multi-entity/currency results and intercompany eliminations
• Coordinate monthly/quarterly close calls and monitor deadlines
• Administer Oracle, Blackline, Lease Accelerator and troubleshoot system issues
