Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. This role oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual close, consolidates financial results, and supports audits.

You will collaborate with FP&A, Revenue, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Facilities, Benefits, Shared Services, and IT in a global setting. This is a US-based remote position requiring comfort with Eastern Time Zone hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA certification.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
• Experience in corporate or public accounting.
• Experience with month-end and quarter-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting for leases, legal accruals, bonuses, debt, and IT expenditures.
• Assist with quarterly/annual financial statements, tables, footnotes, and schedules.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and substantiation.
• Consolidate multiple entities/currencies, including FX translation and intercompany eliminations.
• Lead monthly/quarterly close calls and track deadlines.
• Troubleshoot Oracle, Blackline, and Lease Accelerator issues.
